actually most female apes swell up much larger than a human female during their estrus, however, they may not be as deep. Again though they are more powerful than humans with a chimp averaging three times as powerful and a male silverback gorilla about 10 times so.

What is interesting is that out of the entire mammalian kingdom, humans are the only species that lacks a baculum (penis bone) so our erectile tissue has made up for it. This is why other animals have a stiffer penis, because in it is a bone.
